Returning from his latest trip to Rainbow Lake, Max accompanied by good friend and fishing companion Chris Tarrant managed to bag 8 fish between them in what turned out to be a particularily difficult week! Whilst the fishing was quite slow, the size of the fish caught was pretty impressive as both Chris and Max took several 40lb+ fish topped by this impressive 61lb 03oz which fell to a new Mainline bait he was testing very early on in the session. As usual, tough tackle was the order of the day and all fish were landed with the aid of 27lb braided mainline, tied to 50lb Fluorocarbon leaders, ACE 45lb Silt Leadcore, ACE Lead Clips and 35lb Silt Camo-core with Solar Longshank Size 2 hooks.
